This article is dedicated to the analysis of legal framework Azerbaijan – EU relations in energy sector. The relevance this topic recent months substantiated by change geopolitical realities South Caucasus Region, and discussions on unblocking economic transport communications that intensified after Second Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict. region an interlink between Asia Europe; Azerbaijan, being exporter oil natural gas, important partner European Union. flip political situation nearest future would not only countries region, but also EAEU members-states. subject research bilateral agreements, memoranda joint declarations adopted parties 30 years since reestablishment independence Azerbaijan. Special attention given vectors cooperation both pertaining extraction transit resources from Central Asia. author employs general dialectical, logical, historical, descriptive, formal-legal approach methods determine key trends characteristics scientific novelty lies normative sector beyond context relations, as well outlining peculiarities such cooperation. conclusion made two leans rather than binding agreement, which allows develop mutually beneficial projects based market principles.
